About:
These
images were created from multiple web captures
during the time period of 2001 through 2006.
The captures have been tiled together
and worked into a seamless panoramic skyline of
Chicago.
Here are some definitons of words I use to describe
the type of art I've created.
Glossary:
Artistic: to create a dramatic interpretation
of a rendering.
Rendering: to
collect multiple source files and combine into a seamless
transition of light, color and overlap.
Photographic: to preserve the lifelike balance
of earth and sky during a rendering.
Panoramic: the western facing horizon
of the Chicago skyline centered by the museum
campus, south beyond
McCormick Place down the shore line of Lake Michigan,
then north to the Michigan
avenue street wall continuing to the end of Navy
pier.
My prints
are ink-jet, boarded and varnished.
